Working Through the Weekend

Big plans for the weekend. Yep, a fine mixture of the above, with a little nap time measured in there.

Reality Television Blues

Sorry for the interruption of regular broadcasts. I ran into a bit of troubles in the family. Having sick folks around makes for a busy Raleigh. Also, work has been a bit busy, so I have been lunching at my desk more often than not, to keep up with the incoming problems of my co-workers.
OK, enough whining.

So, how are you? Doing well, I hope. Glad to see you again. What's that?

Oh no, that's just my fantastic mustache. You know, for Movember. My little way of showing support for cancer research, in lieu of having the money to finally defeat it. By the way, if you like you can go here and donate to the national cancer society. Those guys have mad science running twenty four seven. Just think, we might get this thing destroyed. How cool would that be?

Jogging Slow and Easy

I just can't wait to see how well I do at jogging in a week or two. I should call it walking quickly though.

I don't think I will be doing a lot of jogging for a long time, if ever. I am a bit out of shape. Times are tough though, and I made a promise to myself to get rid of that 20-30 lbs of ham and beer around my middle.

I have been using fitocracy to track but I just don't know about it. It just seems kinda clunky.

Oh, I recently got the chance to use a brand new tracker thing, that along with a website will let me work in a more focused manner. I have wanted to try out a tracking device for some time, so yay!

The site lets you work to a goal, You know like a delicious carbohydrate filling beer, or heck even some dang texas toast!

The folks from slimtracker.com contacted me to test it out, so if I seem a bit preoccupied the next few weeks, blame it on technology!

Check them out, the site looks pretty informative, and that's what it takes today to help git fit. Information!
Ok, that's enough marketing. Back to work everyone!!

That is not a Honey Pot

I don't know if any of you are in the seattle/puget sound area, but this weekend has a local Brewfest for Fathers day. Its kind of a big deal. Lots of craft beers, plus wines and of course all kinds of food. I try and go every year.
Also Don't forget in my store I have still got Fathers day gifts.

The Side Project

I just love side projects, dont you? Many is the time, where I had the best intentions, yet found myself not neccisarily working on what I was going to but having beers and contemplating the nature of the universe, or the right amount of computers to have in a home before being a complete nerd.

(the answer is seven, but that is another story.) Anyhow, thanks for putting up with my sporadic posting this week. I will endevour to impress you more next week, even if its just with a pile of rough cave etchings by a rambling madman.
Until then, enjoy your weekend.

Those Cans

Those cans, baby. Those cans. I saw once that Japan has these beer machines all over the place. business men will drink themselves silly while waiting for the trains to take them home, and pass out on the ride home. Sounds  slightly less exciting when you think about it being a Tuesday. Or maybe more exciting, depending on your liver.

Unrequited Love

Few will ever understand the love between a Pacific Northwesterner and his Winter Ales. It is a difficult love, from a distance of an entire year until November and december hits, then BLAM! Love blooms again!

Happy Binary Day

Better enjoy it, dude. the next one is a hundred years away.
